Bergamot Station

If you love art and want to incorporate some smaller, more intimate galleries into your ‘L.A. – Vacay’, Bergamot Station  SHOULD definitely be on your list! If you are heading to the beach or returning from the beach, this is super easily accessible. Previously a railroad station, Bergamot has just under  30 galleries , is roughly a  few miles from the beach, just off Pico on the Expo line drop off and is an easy walk. If you drive, parking is free and great restaurants are just minutes away. If you’re lucky, you might be in town when one (or more) of the Bergamot galleries is hosting an opening reception with wine and cheese (often on Saturdays). These events are always fabulous fun and you might even catch a glimpse of some Hollywood glitterati 🙂
