Her name is Gabriella Nicole and she is now currently working her hair magic in Santa Monica at Lorraine’s Color Bar. Finishing her training at Vidal Sassoon in 2005 and winning 2 out of 3 awards given to the most talented student-stylists, Gabi assisted for two years under celebrity stylist Barry Wrightman and spent the next eight years in Beverly Hills as an independent stylist. She has several celebrity clients and has also done hair for The Emmys, The Oscars, The Globes… you name it!

Her blowouts are phenomenal, her cuts are precision and her colors are amazing! You will be in excellent hands! Her extensions feel and look invisible!

It’s all about the story!

Gabi was literally born to do hair.

Beginning with cutting her own hair when she was two, her best friend’s hair when she was 4, and any other head of hair that gave “its” consent, she went for it!

She worked on doll’s heads, braiding and cutting whenever she could and (fortunately or unfortunately) became very skillful with scissors at a very young age! Experimenting with color at the ripe old age of twelve, Gabi learned a very valuable lesson when one afternoon her color experimentation on her own hair went horribly wrong! Completely frying her hair with bleach, her mother rushed her to the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis where the instructors tried for hours, to save what was left of her beautiful red hair turned bright orange & platinum blonde! Unfortunately, the hair couldn’t be saved and needed to be completely cut off. Valuable lesson learned!

Following this embarrassing experience, of course, Gabi immediately wanted long hair again and taught herself how to “do” extensions! She eventually became very adept and fast at “installing” them (a result most likely from all of the braiding that she did when she was little) on anyone who wanted to be her “guinea pig”. She learned the hard way how to put them in without ruining existing hair or putting them in too tight, giving “the friend” an excruciating headache where they would in turn, need to be removed… fast! OUCH! In ‘05, shortly after her graduation from Sassoon, Gabi got her extension certification! Yay!!

To recap… Gabi’s blowouts, extensions, cuts and colors are phenomenal! But the best part about having your hair done by Gabi is that you get to be around her wonderful ’light’ energy for a short while! She is like no other… she’s like a butterfly. You will look forward to having your hair done and leave feeling better than when you went in… on many levels. As stated at the top of this story, Gabi was born to do hair.

Gabi currently lives on a boat, does energy work, Chakra balancing and yoga in her spare time.
