Navigating the second largest city in the country does not have to be as daunting as it seems! Yes, L.A. is infamous for traffic jams of biblical proportions which can appear anywhere out of nowhere at almost any time of day or night. And yes, one of its major freeways – the 405 – is known un-affectionately as “the world’s largest parking lot.” But there are ways around traffic hassles if you do a little homework beforehand and if you seek out a little help from your friends. L.A.’s Metro system keeps getting better and better and also connects with bus routes. Town cars or limos can take the stress off you and place it directly on your driver’s shoulders. And, of course, there’s Uber and Lyft. If you do choose to rent a car you can use your favorite GPS app for directions. (Btw, my three leasing vendors listed here ALL deliver the car to you, which minimizes your stress). But before you leave for any destination, I strongly suggest that you log on to Sigalert or Google Maps to get current traffic information. Travel safe 🙂
